Dr. Hermes Avila Pelayo trained as a Surgeon at the National Polytechnic Institute (IPN), studied the Specialty of General Surgery at the General Hospital of Mexico and later the Specialty of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Hospital Central Sur Alta Especialidad PEMEX, endorsed by the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). Dr. Hermes Avila Pelayo, among his activities as a researcher and lecturer, implements the Vegan Diet model as part of the established medical treatment in Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery using the Ecological Vegan Food Model as the basis of his treatment. Within his career he ventured into the advanced treatment of burn patients in Galveston Tx, USA with the use of allografts such as cultured keratinocytes as part of the comprehensive management of the burn patient, as well as shortening the treatment time for superficial second-degree and third-degree burns. It has implemented the avant-garde medical model Tele Medicine and Medical Tourism
